What To Do In Nashville

A few weekends ago we explored Nashville and had an absolute blast! This wasn’t the first time there, in fact it was our third and I feel like I have a good insight into things to do, see, where to eat and of course- where to shop! Especially for antiques and home decor, duh.

Each time we have visited we have stayed in different locations and booked under different ways but this last time was by far the best. Best location, quality and price! If you were to google hotels in Nashville you would see they are not inexpensive, so here is a hack for you. Go to hotwire.com and search the area you would like to be and adjust the rating/star to the higher end and search. We ended up picking one of the best offer deals that was a 50/50 chance between two very nice hotels for a big discount. The Hutton Hotel is what was picked and we were very happy with it! If the budget isn’t a big deal or you want the best, I would go to the Thompson Hotel. It is beautiful, within walking distance to shops and restaurants and very central to everything.

Next up, food.

Nashville has a variety of delicious cuisine with an emphasis on Southern, obviously. Which is all we want to eat when we’re there. I swear I was from the South in a previous life, lol. I am going to list off some of our favorites and what is highly recommended from locals.
